BY MSME
Empowering Enterprises, Enabling India
From generating livelihoods to driving exports, from fostering innovation to fuelling the nation's $10 trillion dream, MSMEs are the true heartbeat of our economy - and the force building India from the ground up.
Prologue
India’s journey towards becoming a global economic powerhouse is incomplete without the story of its Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Contributing nearly 30% to GDP, employing more than 110 million people, and powering 45% of exports, MSMEs are not just participants in India’s growth they are its foundation.
Yet, despite their significance, MSMES face persistent challenges: limited access to formal finance, an estimated $25 trillion credit gap, low levels of insurance penetration, modest digital adoption, and restricted global competitiveness. Addressing these gaps is crucial for India’s ambition to become a $10 trillion economy by 2035.
It is against this backdrop that UGRO Capital, India’s leading MSME-focused datatech NBFC, and Eternal Corporate Media Pvt. Ltd., a trusted curator of thought-leadership platforms, have come together to jointly conceptualise INDIA BY MSME a national dialogue designed to shape the blueprint for a future-ready, MSME-led India by 2030.
About the Event
INDIA BY MSME is envisioned as a flagship national platform where policy, finance, and enterprise converge. It is not just another industry gathering but a decisive dialogue designed to unlock the full potential of MSMEs in India’s growth story.
Through curated sessions and thought leadership exchanges, the event will:
- Highlight the opportunities and challenges facing MSMES.
- Facilitate conversations between policymakers, regulators, financiers, insurers, and entrepreneurs.
- Explore innovative models of credit, capital markets, and risk solutions.
- Showcase MSME success stories that inspire replication at scale.
The objective is to create an ecosystem of collaboration, policy innovation, and actionable solutions that enable MSMEs to move from resilience to rapid growth -and position them as key architects of India’s economic future.
Event Concept
The theme “INDIA BY MSME” reflects a defining truth of India’s growth story – that the nation’s progress is built, powered, and sustained by MSMEs. It captures both the sector’s historic contribution to India’s economy and its transformative potential in the decades ahead.
This platform is designed to position MSMEs at the centre of India’s economic diplomacy, making them not just participants but leaders in the nation’s development journey.
The event narrative rests on three pillars
Finance as a Catalyst
Reimagining access to credit, working capital, and capital markets.
Technology as an Equaliser
